Vulcan Imaging Associates (VIA) is an independent, 30+-physician, fully-subspecialized private practice located in Birmingham, AL providing services across Alabama and Georgia. VIA provides services to five partner hospitals in AL and GA with strong emergency departments. Our group has a reputation for providing high quality imaging services and is dedicated to excellence in serving our patients and business partners. Company History
Established in 2006, the Alabama Orthopedic Imaging (AOI) has proudly trained musculoskeletal (MSK) radiologists located throughout the country. AOI is supported by Vulcan Imaging Associates, and has long-lasting partnerships throughout the community including the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center, based here on the St. Vincent’s Birmingham campus. These partnerships afford us abundant opportunities for advanced training in comprehensive MSK imaging, culminating in world-class medical care for our elite athletes, weekend warriors, and local community.
