Company History
Our organization was formed in 1967; from its inception until the present time, DIS has provided service to Georgia Baptist Hospital and its successors, Georgia Baptist Healthcare System and currently Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center. Over the decades, DIS has expanded from a practice comprised of five physicians at one facility to a sixteen plus physician practice serving two hospitals, several outpatient imaging centers, and an outpatient interventional spine center. DIS has been recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of Atlanta’s Top 25 Physician Group Practices.
