Company History
DIS had its origins with Georgia Baptist Hospital and expanded as the hospital evolved into a 460 bed Level 1 Trauma Center with multiple teaching programs. In 1996, Tenet acquired Georgia Baptist Medical Center and DIS continues to provide services. In addition, DIS provides professional services to Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers, GA. This facility is a 140 bed sole community provider located about 35 miles east of Atlanta. DIS provides professional services to 12 imaging centers, a vascular access center and owns and operates two interventional spine centers.
