Epic Specialty Services - Diagnostics & Imaging is a boutique teleradiology practice with the resources of a large healthcare staffing firm. We work with multiple hospitals, imaging centers and small teleradiology practices around the country. We are unique in that we use teleradiology scribes to help the Radiologists make their reports. This increases the amount of time a Radiologist's eyes are on the patient's images and decreases the report creation time. In addition our scribes can integrate into your existing workflow even if you are not a client of ours or if you do not work for us. Company History
Chicago Telerad was started in 2015 by Dr.Faisal Sami. In 2023, it was acquired by Epic Staffing Group and re-branded to Epic Specialty Services - Diagnostics & Imaging, but maintains the leadership and vision of Dr. Sami with even more resources for physicians.
Our unique model of reading using teleradiology scribes allows our Radiologists to be significantly more productive by slowing down and increasing the time the Radiologists eyes are on the patient's images while a scribe creates the report.
Dr.Sami is a pioneer in the use of radiology scribes in radiology workflow in addition to being an MSK and ER Teleradiologist.
