Company History
Founded in 1949, the group is comprised of 18 radiologists and one PA providing both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging services 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, to the people and physicians of Gaston and surrounding counties. The radiologists provide services at CaroMont Regional Medical Center and its three outpatient imaging centers and a freestanding emergency department located in Mt Holly, N.C.. GMH is a 442-bed acute care hospital. A second hospital is planned to open in Belmont, N.C. in 2023, adjacent to Belmont Abbey College. The medical staff is a good mix of both highly trained and qualified specialists and primary care physicians.
