Company Overview
Insight Imaging is a privately owned community imaging center in Grass Valley CA offering affordable 3D mammography, ultrasound, ultrasound guided breast biopsy, bone density, and plain film imaging. All imaging is digital and on-sight PACS is utilized. The business has become increasingly busy and is considered the premier breast imaging center in our region. Located in the California gold country historic towns of Grass Valley and Nevada City, Insight is one hour from Lake Tahoe and approximately 2.5 hours from San Francisco. Climate is four season and mild with recreational and cultural benefits abounding. Schools are excellent.
Company History
Founded in 2010 to offer affordable imaging to women in the community, Insight has become the premier breast imaging center in the community. It offered the first 3D Tomosynthesis unit in the region and receives referrals from not only the local community but throughout the Northern California region. The original location has been expanded twice to offer plain film and ultrasound. It operates 4.5 days a week. No nights or weekends and no call.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Insight has become the premier breast imaging center in the region. A Komen recipient, studies have shown a marked increase in breast imaging in the region since inception in 2010. Affiliated with a non-profit clinic, Insight raises funds and receives grants for low-cost and no-cost imaging for women in need.
