Pinehurst Radiology is a vibrant private practice group with twelve radiologists providing coverage to the FirstHealth Hospital System and professional reads to the multi-specialty groups in Moore County. Moore Regional Hospital is FirstHealth’s flagship hospital with 335 bed community hospital in Pinehurst. Truven named Moore Regional Hospital one of the nation’s top 100 hospitals for 2016. In addition, Pinehurst Radiology has sole ownership of an imaging center across the street from Moore Regional Hospital. Pinehurst Radiology is a physician practice dedicated to providing high quality imaging and radiology services to the Sandhills region of North Carolina since the 1970’s. Founded by radiologist Daniel Clark, M.D. in 1977 at Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst Radiology has grown through the years to 12 radiologists and one physician‘s assistant, with a support staff and management team. Pinehurst Radiology has been the radiology group of choice for Moore County for the past 40 years.
Today, our board-certified, fellowship trained radiologists practice at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital and Moore Regional Hospital - Hoke Campus, as well as our imaging center located in Pinehurst. Pinehurst Radiology Center opened in 1983 and has provided Mammography, Ultrasound and X-ray services to the people of the Sandhills for the past 33 years.
Pinehurst Radiology’s physicians are subspecialty and fellowship trained in Neuroradiology, Abdominal Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Body Imaging, Breast Imaging, and Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Pinehurst Radiology provides the full-range of radiology and imaging services, through its interpretations, procedures and imaging center.
