The group has served southwest Colorado for decades. The current service area population is approximately 200-250K, including Durango’s population of 20,000.
The practice emphasizes a collegial work environment committed to providing high quality patient care and diagnostic services coupled with work-life balance and ample opportunity to enjoy the amazing experiences that southwest Colorado has to offer.
Durango is a vibrant mountain community situated in southwest Colorado at the southern edge of the rugged and beautiful San Juan mountains. It’s unique location and relatively small population allows for unusually quick access to mountain wilderness without the crowds and traffic encountered in other parts of the state. Purgatory ski resort is less than 30 minutes from town, with Wolf Creek and Telluride nearby (1.5 hours and 2.5 hours from Durango respectively). Durango experiences all four seasons with a long summer season allowing for world class mountain biking, road cycling, whitewater and river sports, camping, hiking, and fishing. Durango is also a great hub for exploring some of the most iconic destinations in the western United States such as the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, Lake Powell, and Moab, UT. The local Durango-La Plata County airport offers daily flights to and from Denver, Dallas, and Phoenix on American Airlines and United Airlines.
