About TRA Medical Imaging

TRA Medical Imaging is a premier, physician-owned and physician-led radiology practice of approximately 100 radiologists, with a 100+ year history of serving the communities of the Puget Sound region. Centered in Tacoma, WA, TRA has a geographic presence extending from Seattle to Olympia. Position Summary

• TRA is seeking radiologists to cover late evening swing shifts until 2 or 3 am PST, 1 week on/2 weeks off. Shift start time can be customized to meet the applicant’s lifestyle.
• Production based pay with total compensation approximately $60 per wRVU. Anticipated annual compensation range is:
  • 5p-3a PST, 17 weeks/yr: $725,000-$1,000,000+
  • Opportunities for additional income via internal moonlighting.
  • Employee contracts include ~50K in benefits.
  • Independent contractors (1099) may receive per diem compensation in lieu of benefits package
• Emergency radiology – primarily ER and inpatient cases. Coverage includes two Level II trauma centers, a level III trauma center, and multiple smaller community hospitals.
• Join a cohesive group in our Emergency Radiology section. Your shift will overlap with multiple other radiologists in our practice. We foster a team-based, collaborative culture. Peer-to-peer consultation is encouraged.
• Work from home with a provided PACS workstation, robust IT support, and 24/7 physician administrative support.
• Our in-house team facilitates all licensing, credentialing and privileging requirements. All associated fees are covered by TRA.

About the candidate

We are seeking board-certified or board-eligible radiologists interested in an independent, physician owned practice with a collaborative work culture. The ideal candidate is able to handle a high volume of cross sectional and plain film imaging cases. Subspecialization/fellowship training is a plus but not required.
