The Section of Pediatric Radiology in the Department of Radiology of the Mount Sinai Health System and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a fellowship trained, Board Certified or Eligible Pediatric Radiologist, with a CAQ/MOC to provide multi-modality imaging services based at Mount Sinai Hospital with a hybrid in house/virtual arrangement. Pediatric patients receiving care at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital throughout the Sinai Network are served by the general Pediatric Radiologists, as well as by subspecialists in Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology, MSK, and Interventional Radiology. Patients with complex medical and surgical problems are cared for daily with the imaging choices and protocols designed to best serve the patients with the least discomfort and the least radiation exposure using state-of-the-art equipment in a setting of truly dedicated support staff with a strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System.
In addition, Pediatric Radiology faculty participate in the formal and informal teaching of Radiology Residents from the Mount Sinai Health System, Medical Students at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (one of the top ranked medical schools nationally) and Pediatric Residents from the Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. The faculty regularly participates in a multitude of conferences including Pediatric Radiology noon conferences, Hematology/Oncology/Radiology Conference, Pulmonary Conference, NICU, PICU, Multidisciplinary Liver/GI Conference, Pediatric Surgical Conference, and Pediatric Tumor Board. Clinical research and other academic pursuits are encouraged. There are numerous significant opportunities for career development, research, mentorship and personal growth.

Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience with the compensation package exceptionally competitive in the New York metropolitan area. Compensation ranges from 430K to 525K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits). Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
