Breast Imager Opportunity – Lancaster, PA
Part Time and Full Time Employment or Partnership Track
Lancaster Radiology Associates, Ltd., (LRA) is seeking a board eligible/certified, fellowship trained (or equivalent experience) breast imager to join our dynamic team.
LRA is a 100% physician-owned practice in South Central Pennsylvania committed to maintaining independence from private equity or hospital ownership. LRA has provided exclusive Radiology services at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital for over 50 years. LRA Radiologists perform high-level sub-specialty reads while maintaining strong general skills.
Part-time and full-time employment
- Breast Imaging
- No Evening/Nights or Weekend call
- Comfortable performing all aspects of Breast Imaging and Procedures
- Participate in multi-specialty tumor boards
- Employees have opportunities to earn extra salary by working extra shifts
Partnership Track Breast Imager
- Both breast imaging responsibilities and some general Radiology opportunities, with the majority of the time in breast imaging
- Comfortable performing all aspects of breast imaging including procedures and diagnostic studies
- May include some after hour shifts shared equitably between partners
- Partners can buy and sell shifts to maximize flexibility and suit each individual’s optimal work/life balance
Requirements
- Board certified/eligible or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
- Fellowship trained in breast imaging (or equivalent experience).

At the Suzanne H. Arnold Center for Breast Health, a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, our breast imaging specialists perform over 50,000 breast imaging and interventions, including over 40,000 screening mammograms from 8 ACR accredited locations throughout the region.
A full complement of breast imaging including tomosynthesis, state of the art breast ultrasound equipment, and a dedicated breast MRI program with complete breast interventional capabilities are offered to our patients. Our breast imagers are a highly valued part of a multi-disciplinary cancer team that includes breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, nurse navigators, certified genetic counselors, and highly skilled technologists and staff.
