WashU Medicine Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) is looking for academically dedicated individuals to join our growing team and help advance our clinical mission in breast imaging. Here are just a few reasons why our clinical faculty members are leading the way in breast imaging:
- A state-of-the-art, high-volume setting; the breast imaging section interprets over 47,000 mammograms, 8,000 ultrasounds, and 3,700 MRIs, and performs 3,000 procedures annually.
- Practicing in a multidisciplinary setting and close, collaborative relationships with our breast surgical colleagues.
- Leading-edge equipment, including contrast-enhanced mammogram and CEM biopsy capability, new and updated mammography and ultrasound units, and Sectra PACS
- Community outreach through satellite locations and mobile mammography
- A collegial, supportive environment with opportunities for individual contributions to clinical, teaching and research department mission
- Opportunities for both investigator-initiated projects as well as participation in multidisciplinary NIH-funded research projects
Position Description
We’re looking for a breast radiologist for a faculty position at WashU Medicine in the Breast Imaging Radiology section at the Joanne Knight Breast Health Center located at the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, an NCI designated cancer center. This position focuses exclusively on breast imaging. There are no evening or weekend call responsibilities although optional moonlighting opportunities are available.
Qualifications
Applicants must be ABR board-certified or board-eligible and have either fellowship training in breast imaging or substantial experience as a practicing breast radiologist.

Compensation/Benefits
Our radiologists receive a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as opportunities for additional income through evening and weekend moonlighting.
