Radiology Consultants of Iowa (RCI)is a self-governed, independent private group of 30 radiologists with no affiliation (nor planned affiliation) with private equity. We have a nearly 100-year history of serving communities in Cedar Rapids and Eastern Iowa.  
 

Due to increased volume and retirement planning, RCI is seeking to hire board certified/eligible dedicated breast radiologists. All levels of training are welcome to apply, including those in both residency and fellowship. This is a partnership track position with two years to partnership. Salary for the two years is $500,000 each year with a $50,000 signing bonus. In addition to this, you will receive all the standard benefits and 10 weeks of vacation each year. An advance on the first-year salary is available for those in training.  

RCI is an ACR Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. We currently serve 3 women's centers in Cedar Rapids, including one at our own imaging center.  This position will include diagnostic/screening mammography, breast ultrasound, biopsies (stereotactic, US guided and MR guided), localizations, and automated breast ultrasound. We are willing to train or refresh candidates on these aspects of breast imaging. 

Highlights: 

• Flexibility: Partners to decide how much or little they want to work, based on their desire for more income or preferred work life balance. This can be adjusted year to year at the individual's discretion.
• Salary last year ranged from $600,000-$1,000,000
• Vacation last year ranged from 12 weeks to 19 weeks (all considered full time)
• NO off-hour work, NO call, NO weekends, and NO holidays. 

 
One of the unique features of our group is our scheduling flexibility, which includes payment to partners using a point system. This allows partners to change how much or little they want to work, based on their desire for more income or preferred work life balance. An optional pay-per-click system offers an additional revenue stream which can be done at your convenience to further increase your income.  

Most of our radiologists live in the Cedar Rapids or Iowa City metro areas. Both have excellent public schools and are great places to raise a family. Perhaps our greatest strength is the relationships that we have within the group. We know each other, like each other, and help each other out.
