Description
We are seeking a fellowship trained (or equivalent) breast radiologist to join our skilled and compassionate breast imaging team. Our radiology practice of 50 sub-specialized radiologists is part of Community Care Physicians, PC, upstate New York’s unique multispecialty medical group that offers both private and academic practice settings. Ideal candidates possess expertise in digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and interventional breast procedures. We pride our patient-centered approach to care with technologically advanced, high quality and collaborative care within an environment that prioritizes patient comfort. Salary is competitive and includes a signing bonus, excellent 401k plan with profit sharing, employer funded HSA and health insurance for comprehensive coverage, generous PTO and CME support, and merit/productivity bonuses.
The radiology division of Community Care Physicians, PC provides professional services at an academic medical center with a Diagnostic Radiology residency program (Albany Medical Center with 766 beds); and a community hospitals Columbia Memorial Hospital with 192 beds. We also own and operate multiple state of the art outpatient imaging centers, including two sites designated ACR Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
Community Care Physicians’ primary service area is the Capital Region of NY state, which includes the counties of Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady, housing nearly 1.1 million people. We are within driving distance of New York City, Boston, Montreal and four mountain ranges supporting a full range of outdoor activities. The Capital Region is home to professional and collegiate sport teams, Saratoga Racetrack, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (summer home of NYC Ballet and Philadelphia Orchestra), The Palace and Proctor’s Theatres, Troy Savings Music Hall and Tanglewood in Western Massachusetts (summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra). The Capital Region also has a vibrant craft brewery/distillery industry, with more than 70 craft breweries in the area.
