DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS NATIONAL TELERADIOLOGY PROGRAM REMOTE FULL/PART TIME STAFF AND LOCUMS POSITIONS AVAILABLE
The VHA National Teleradiology Program (NTP) serves our nation’s veterans by providing high quality general and subspecialty 24/7/365 teleradiology services to VA Medical Centers across the nation.
Staff and Locums candidates must be United States citizens and have one unrestricted license to practice medicine in any US state. Malpractice and tail insurance is covered by the federal government. No private malpractice insurance is required. Centralized credentialing at 1 hospital facility minimizes administrative overhead.
We offer top end 24/7 PACS and technical support. Seamless access to integrated VA-wide EMR and relevant prior imaging.
REMOTE FULL/PART TIME STAFF
Full-time or part-time federal employment position with the Department of Veterans Affairs that offers the ability to fully work from home (remote) with the option to work at any of our reading centers (Menlo Park, CA; Honolulu, HI; NYC Manhattan, NY, Durham, NC, Portland, OR, Dallas, TX)
Attractive work schedules available, competitive compensation and benefits package including federal pension, 401K with up to 5% government match, vacation, sick time, CME time and 11 federal holiday holiday/comp days per year.
Flexible shifts: 8 or 10 hour shifts during daytime and evenings (EST), or primarily afternoons/evenings with some daytime (CST/PST/HST)
Standard requirement of 20 weekends a year. Part time requirement is prorated.
General Interpretation of ED/general CT, limited nuclear medicine, ultrasound and plain films. Subspecialty MRI optional. All subspecialties considered.

LOCUMS (FEE BASIS) POSITIONS:
Ability to work from home (remote) as well as at any of our reading centers (Menlo Park, CA; Honolulu, HI; NYC Manhattan, NY, Durham, NC, Portland, OR, Dallas, TX).
Remote workstation assignment requires service commitment of minimum 600 hours per year (average 50 per month). Additional hours available.
Flexible scheduling with baseline need for 25 hours of weekend/holiday work per month and the remainder of shifts performed after 2p PST weekdays or anytime weekends. Additional shifts available based on radiologist availability and clinical need.
Generous pay per study compensation schedule. Earn up to $400K per year maximum.
Fee for service position, without benefits. Pay is via W-2 from the federal government.
Mix of general and subspecialty radiology. No MR requirement outside of subspecialty.
Work at your own pace; reasonable volume expectations.
