A multi-location group in the greater Los Angeles area is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for locum coverage. Enjoy flexible scheduling, quick credentialing, and ongoing coverage through 2027.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: Mid-July/Early August
- Duration: Ongoing through 2027
- Location: Greater Los Angeles, California
- Setting: Onsite
Position Overview
- General diagnostic radiology
- Interpret approximately 100-110 studies per day
- Perform 2-3 procedures daily
- Read between procedures as needed
Typical Daily Volume
- 60 X-rays
- 30 CTs
- 12 Ultrasounds
- 3 MRIs
- 2-3 Fluoroscopy procedures
Required Procedures & Reads
Candidates should be comfortable with:
- CT (including abdominal/pelvic)
- MRI
- Ultrasound
- Fluoroscopy
- X-ray
- Nuclear Medicine (preferred)
- GI studies: Upper GI, Esophagram, Small Bowel Follow Through, Barium Enema
No mammography or breast procedures required.
Technology
- EMR: Epic
- PACS/Dictation: NovaRad & MModal
Requirements
- Active California medical license
- DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Clean NPDB history
** Potential teleradiology and interventional radiology opportunities are also being discussed.
