BREAST IMAGING RADIOLOGIST (FELLOWSHIP TRAINED)

JOB OVERVIEW
Diagnostic Imaging Associates, PC (DIA) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our expanding 18-physician private practice. We highly value our independence and have no current or planned private equity or corporate radiology affiliations.
This full-time role offers an excellent work-life balance in Des Moines, Iowa, featuring a schedule focused primarily on dedicated breast imaging, with flexibility for remaining shifts tailored to your personal subspecialty interests.
PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS
Clinical Setup: Work closely with referring clinicians at our ACR Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, fully supported by a dedicated breast navigator.
Hospital Partnership: Enjoy a 30+ year trusted partnership with MercyOne - Des Moines Medical Center, which operates four metro hospital campuses totaling 875 beds, alongside central Iowa regional hospitals.

COMPENSATION & TRACK OPTIONS
Candidates can choose between two career paths. Both paths include a $50,000 signing bonus, a $10,000 relocation allowance, and full coverage for malpractice, medical, and dental/vision insurance.
Option 1: Employee Track
Annual Compensation: $600,000
Call Schedule: Completely excluded from the general diagnostic call pool.
Paid Time Off (PTO): 12 weeks annually.
Retirement: 401(k) profit-sharing program
Option 2: Shareholder Track
Timeline: 2-year partnership track for newly graduated fellows (may be shortened for experienced candidates).
Annual Compensation: $500,000 (Associate Year 1) | $550,000 (Associate Year 2).
Call Schedule: Includes full participation in the general diagnostic call pool.
Paid Time Off (PTO): 10 weeks (Associate Year 1) | 11 weeks (Associate Year 2).
Retirement & Long-Term Comp: 401(k) profit-sharing program; eligible for a cash balance pension program after 2 years of employment. Shareholder compensation lands within the top quartile of MGMA data, with vacation that varies by staffing and is currently 14 weeks.
HYBRID WORK: Some shifts available to work from home
