Description

Seeking a radiologist to work on-site in a hospital setting 2-3 weeks/quarter on an ongoing basis.   Will give consideration if interested in reading remotely as well as traveling onsite a couple weeks per quarter.  We are located on Humboldt Bay in Eureka, CA, approximately 100 miles south of the Oregon border, in the heart of the Redwoods.  There is an abundance of opportunity for outdoor activities and adventures, as well as nonstop flights to San Francisco and Los Angeles.  You will be working for an independent group, Humboldt Radiology Medical Group, which has been proudly serving Humboldt County for 50 years.  We offer:

• Competitive salary with a weekly stipend for travel.
• Overnight call covered by outside teleradiology company starting at 1700.
• Internal moonlighting available, if desired.

Requirements

General diagnostic radiology experience and minor procedure skills (thoracentesis, paracentesis, breast biopsy).  Can train if limited experience.  Candidates must have successfully completed a postgraduate residency in radiology, or a subspecialty of radiology accredited by the ACGME, AOA or equivalent, and must be Board Certified with American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.

$25,525/week plus travel stipend (Mon-Sun) w/option to earn more through internal moonlighting. 

$13,500/week, for remote reading (Mon-Fri).
