Description
Interventional Radiologist – $800K+ | No Diagnostic Call | Flexible Schedule
Premier Radiology, a physician-led private practice in partnership with Beacon Health Kalamazoo, is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join a well-established, expanding IR service in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This is a rare opportunity to build a highly rewarding IR career with exceptional compensation, meaningful autonomy, true clinical support, and a lifestyle structure designed for long-term sustainability.
This is not a burnout-driven, volume-at-all-costs position. It is a high-quality private practice opportunity for an Interventional Radiologist who wants to perform procedures, grow a service line, and be well supported while doing it.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Elite Compensation: Total annual compensation exceeds $800,000, including full benefits for full-time physicians, placing this opportunity among the most competitive Interventional Radiology positions nationally. Flexible scheduling models are available, with compensation structured proportionally based on workload.
Immediate Parity
Experienced physicians enter the group with full parity from day one. There is no prolonged buy-in period, and optional moonlighting opportunities are available for those who want additional income upside without pressure or obligation.
Predominantly IR-Focused Practice
Practice predominantly Interventional Radiology in a productive, efficient private practice model. Physicians perform a broad mix of inpatient and outpatient procedures while interpreting diagnostic studies between cases to maintain steady workflow and optimize clinical productivity.
No Diagnostic Call
Enjoy a protected IR lifestyle with no diagnostic call responsibilities. Call is IR-only, shared 1 in 3, with minimal weekday call-ins after 5 PM.
Exceptional Clinical Support
You will work alongside two highly experienced Interventional Radiologists and be supported by two full-time Interventional Radiology Physician Assistants who provide daily hands-on procedural and clinical support. This structure allows physicians to focus on procedures, decision-making, and high-value clinical care.
Flexible Scheduling Built Around Your Life
Choose from scheduling models designed to support different career stages, lifestyle goals, and income preferences. Whether you want a traditional full-time practice or a block schedule with substantial time away, the structure is built to be flexible and sustainable.
Flexible Scheduling Options
Full-Time Model: Work 40 weeks per year with 12 weeks off annually in an IR-focused clinical schedule. IR call is shared 1 in 3.
Block Schedule Model
Work 18–26 weeks per year with options including 7-on/7-off, 7-on/14-off, or 14-on/14-off. Call is limited strictly to your active working weeks.
The Practice
Premier Radiology offers a high-efficiency private practice environment built around autonomy, clinical quality, productivity, and long-term physician satisfaction.
The IR service includes a broad and growing mix of inpatient and outpatient procedures, supported by strong hospital relationships, community referrals, and engaged administrative leadership.
Procedures are performed in a state-of-the-art interventional suite featuring the newest top-of-the-line Philips Azurion angiography system, with full access to CT fluoroscopy and advanced ultrasound platforms to support a wide range of interventional procedures.
The service continues to expand, with increasing procedural volume and strong institutional support. This is an ideal opportunity for an Interventional Radiologist who enjoys procedural variety, clinical ownership, and helping grow an already successful IR program.
More Than a Job
Premier Radiology is committed to building long-term careers, not short-term staffing solutions. We are physician-led, growth-oriented, and intentional about creating a culture where radiologists thrive professionally and personally.
The culture is collegial, the infrastructure is strong, and the growth is deliberate. This is a position for an Interventional Radiologist who wants to be valued, supported, and compensated at the highest level while maintaining a sustainable lifestyle.
If you are a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist seeking $800K+ compensation, immediate parity, no diagnostic call, flexible scheduling, strong PA support, and a growing IR service, this is a rare opportunity.
