Description

Crown Valley Imaging is contracting remote diagnostic radiologists for our growing two-site outpatient practice in coastal Orange County. We have an immediate need for body/general coverage and a parallel MSK need — if you read MSK or body well, we'd like to talk. This is a fully remote, independent-contractor, pay-per-study role: read on your own schedule, from anywhere. We don't set your hours — we ask for a 24 business-hour turnaround on assigned studies. All reads are of California patients, so an active California license is required.

We offer a comfortable, low-stress reading environment with the latest PACS and software. CVI operates two private outpatient facilities (Mission Viejo and Newport Beach) running 3T MRI, 1.5T MRI, low-dose CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and DEXA. We collaborate with Orange County's top orthopedic surgery groups, including those representing professional sports teams, alongside rheumatologists, physiatrists, and the primary care and specialty practices driving our body and general imaging.

The Work — read on your own schedule; 24 business-hour turnaround expected. Choose your fit:

• Body / General — about 30 studies/day available: CT ~10, Ultrasound ~12, X-ray ~5, MRI ~3.
• MSK — about 25 studies/day available: MRI ~16, X-ray ~8, CT ~1.
  
  Diverse cases: sports injuries, trauma, tumors, arthritis, abdominal/pelvic, and more. Routine spine volume is available and can be allocated to fit your comfort.

1099 Per-Study Rates:

• Using your own med-mal: MRI $59 without contrast $70 with $88 with & without CT $47 routine $76 abd-pelvis/CTA/urogram US $26 limited $34 complete XR/DEXA $9
• Practice covering med-mal: MRI $53 without contrast $63 with $79 with & without CT $42 routine $68 abd-pelvis/CTA/urogram US $23 limited $31 complete XR/DEXA $8

Requirements

• Active California medical license (required — all reads are of California patients)
• ABR board certification or board-eligible
• Fellowship in MSK, Body/Abdominal, or General radiology preferred; strong general/body readers welcome
• Malpractice: carry your own (higher per-study rate) or we provide occurrence coverage with no tail (standard rate)
