Musculoskeletal Imaging Faculty Position at Stanford University
The Department of Radiology at Stanford University School of Medicine is searching for a full-time radiologist with expertise in Musculoskeletal Imaging. This academic appointment is open rank in the Clinician Educator Line. The major criteria for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care and clinical teaching appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
The applicant will have an M.D. degree or equivalent, must be board-certified or eligible in diagnostic radiology, and have completed a formal fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging or equivalent training. Candidates must have passed all three steps of the USMLE exams or equivalent prior to beginning their appointment. High level expertise in clinical musculoskeletal imaging and related interventional procedures is essential, and a commitment to education is highly valued.
The Stanford Musculoskeletal service is a busy, thriving division in the Department of Radiology, serving Stanford Hospital and Clinics. Clinical MSK activities are shared between Stanford Health Care hospitals and outpatient centers. Co-located with orthopedic surgery and other specialists, MSK radiologists practice in this beautifully appointed facility staffed with highly talented and committed staff. Recent enhancements to the clinical service include improved methods for MRI in patients with metallic implants and MR neurography. We provide MSK imaging and image-guided therapeutic procedures to Stanford Athletics as well as other local professional and collegiate athletes.

Salary Range:
The expected base pay range for this position is:
Clinical Assistant Professor: $426,000 - $444,000
Clinical Associate Professor: $459,000 - $477,000
Clinical Professor: $497,000 - $524,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
