What we do: We provide services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. ARS is the exclusive radiology provider to West Michigan’s largest Level I trauma center and research hospital, Corewell Health. American College of Radiology has designated Corewell a Diagnostic Center for Excellence
What we are looking for: We are currently accepting applicants for a Musculoskeletal Imaging position in Grand Rapids or REMOTE. This is a full time, partnership track position and will work primarily day time hours. Our standard track physicians work 39 weeks and 11 weekends, and have 13 weeks of vacation.
Responsibilities for Grand Rapids based role:
- Interpretation of diagnostic studies with a focus on MSK ultrasound
- Performance of MSK image-guided procedures including arthrography and pain injections (for on-site option)
- Position will be a significant amount of MSK but could also include body/ER if desired
- Teaching of radiology residents
- Schedule will include combination of on-site and remote shifts, primarily day time shifts with a couple evening ER shifts per month
Responsibilities for a fully REMOTE role:
- Interpretation of ~50% MSK studies
- The remainder of the time will be determined based on preference but may include cross-sectional, ER, or general imaging shifts
- Teaching of radiology residents virtually if desired
Why do you want to do telerad for us?
Although we are based in Michigan, we have a well-established teleradiology practice. We had remote physicians prior to COVID and currently have physicians working in 14 states. We utilize Intelerad PACS, PowerScribe 360 and InteleOrchestrator (formerly Clario); we have outstanding IT infrastructure and 24/7 help desk support. Our remote radiologists are encouraged to participate in virtual section, committee and board meetings and their input is essential to our practice decisions. You will have outstanding colleagues working virtually by your side as we have dedicated body, cardiothoracic, ER, neuro, pediatric, musculoskeletal, and ultrasound readers on first and second shifts and body, ER, neuro, and pediatric readers on third shift.

Compensation/Benefits: We offer a 50K recruitment incentive (sign on bonus), competitive compensation package and opportunities for increased compensation by picking up additional shifts on a month to month basis. Our physicians pay “0” for medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18,000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan ($72,000 in 2026). We offer 13 weeks of vacation for our standard track positions and a brand new 6-week paid parental leave benefit to coordinate with the 12 weeks of FMLA!

Requirements
- American Board of Radiology or AOBR certified or Board-Eligible
- Completion of a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship
- MSK ultrasound experience required for on-site role (only)
