The Cardiothoracic section of Baylor College of Medicine Radiology Department in Houston, TX is recruiting for a new Chest and/or Cardiothoracic faculty member for our expanding cardiothoracic service. Duties for this position will include a mix of clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities.
The Radiology Department provides service to a level 1 trauma center in the Texas Medical Center, as well as a nationally recognized Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center. The Cardiothoracic Division delivers high quality service to the Baylor Lung Institute (which is part of the nationally recognized Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center), Lung cancer screening program, TAVR program, and broad variety of cardiovascular CTA’s and MRI’s . Our facilities have state of the art equipment including dual energy CT scanner and 1.5T - 3T MRI scanners, including full cardiac packages.
The Cardiothoracic section hosts Baylor radiology residents who assist with covering the level 1 Hospital and outpatient studies as well as medical students. Faculties are actively engaged in educational activities, including formal and informal teaching, quality improvement projects, and mentorship supervision.

Candidates are required to have completed a Cardiothoracic fellowship, or a Thoracic Imaging fellowship with mini cardiac-Fellowship training. Candidates must have strong clinical experience in all areas of chest and CV imaging including CT, MRI, and plain film. Candidates must possess an MD or DO (or equivalent) degree, be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, and meet the requirements for an unrestricted licensure in the state of Texas.
