Overnight Emergency Radiologist
Boston Medical Center Boston, MA
Schedule 7 nights on / 21 clinical days off
Location Remote — workstation provided
Setting Academic tertiary care + community sites
ABOUT THE ROLE
Remotely read ED and inpatient exams from BMC's academic tertiary care center as well as from community-level partner sites. The full spectrum of emergency studies is expected — neuro, body, and MSK (CT, US, X ray, limited MR) — along with some subspecialty-level cases. Nuclear medicine and interventional radiology are not required. This position is available due to volume growth, not attrition. The position is expected to begin soon- 2027 graduates will not be considered.
REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts
Radiology board eligibility
Preferred (not required):
Experience in a tertiary care center
Body fellowship training
ACADEMIC INVOLVEMENT
We are looking for a collaborative radiologist enthusiastic about working in an academic environment. The department accepts 10 residents a year. This includes day-to-day clinical instruction, resident mentorship, lectures, and participation in department initiatives.
