- Outpatient Vascular IR In Tropical Paradise
Description
Vascular & Interventional Radiologist — Outpatient Practice, No Call — Guam
Are you looking for an opportunity to build a rewarding vascular and interventional radiology practice without hospital call, overnight coverage, or the administrative limitations of a large health system?
Guam Radiology Consultants is seeking a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist to join the largest and most advanced diagnostic and interventional radiology practice in the Western Pacific. This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician who wants to perform a broad range of vascular and body interventional procedures in a well-equipped outpatient environment while maintaining a work-life balance that is second to none.
High-Volume Vascular and Body IR
Our practice performs a substantial volume of outpatient vascular interventions, including:
- Lower-extremity angiography and angioplasty
- Peripheral arterial stenting
- Orbital and laser atherectomy
- IVUS-guided interventions
- Dialysis fistula and graft angiography, angioplasty, and related access procedures
- Venous interventions and vein procedures
The position also offers the opportunity to maintain a diverse body IR practice, including:
- Live CT fluoroscopy and ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages
- Microwave tumor ablation
- Transarterial chemoembolization
- Genitourinary interventions
- Venous access procedures
- Neuro and MSK pain-management procedures
This combination is ideal for a vascular-focused interventional radiologist who also enjoys body IR and wants to retain a broad procedural skill set.
Comprehensive Clinical Support
Our procedures are performed in a fully staffed outpatient facility with:
- Multiple full-time CRNAs
- Experienced interventional radiology nurses
- Skilled IR technologists and clinical support staff
- Skilled APPs performing clinical office visits and procedure/imaging follow-up appointments
- Fellowship-trained diagnostic radiologists in Neuro, MSK, Body, Vascular, Oncology, Pediatrics, and more
- On-site operating rooms and recovery areas
- Dedicated in-house IT and biomedical engineering support
The practice is located just down the street from an acute-care hospital while allowing the interventional radiologist to work primarily in a controlled outpatient setting.
Our equipment includes two newer Siemens Artis angiography suites, two Siemens CT scanners equipped for live CT fluoroscopy, C-arms, multiple high-end ultrasound systems, and advanced RIS/PACS infrastructure.
No Call and an Excellent Work-Life Balance
Guam Radiology Consultants operates during regular clinic hours:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
This position offers the opportunity to perform meaningful, complex vascular and body IR procedures without overnight or hospital IR call responsibilities. Our physicians and staff work collaboratively, enjoy practicing together, and place a high priority on job satisfaction and work-life balance.
Our multidisciplinary facility also includes interventional and non-interventional cardiologists, a dedicated interventional pain-management service, advanced practice providers, and a general surgeon.
