Private Practice Fellowship or Non-Fellowship Trained Radiologist in Peoria Illinois
Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is an independent, physician-owned private radiology group practice with 100+ physicians providing comprehensive medical imaging and interventional services to ambulatory facilities, clinics, and hospitals throughout Illinois and in Michigan. We are currently recruiting an onsite fellowship trained or non-fellowship trained radiologist to join our team of professionals based in Peoria, Illinois, with an interest in traveling to some of our hospital partner locations within an hour of Peoria; travel time is accounted for within the workday. Candidates will primarily interpret imaging studies within their subspecialty, as well as additional diagnostic imaging and procedural responsibilities are customizable based on the candidate’s experience and interests. The position participates in breast imaging interpretations and biopsies along with non-vascular procedures including biopsies, drainages, paracentesis, thoracentesis, joint injections and lumbar punctures. The position presents opportunity for faculty appointment, supervising and teaching residents and fellows for the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria (UICOM-P). In addition, we are looking for candidates who have strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate relationships with our hospital partners, clinicians, employees and patients.
