Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is an independent, physician-owned private radiology group practice with 100+ physicians providing comprehensive medical imaging and interventional services to ambulatory facilities, clinics, and hospitals throughout Illinois and in Michigan. We are currently recruiting an onsite fellowship trained radiologist interested in joining our growing Nuclear Medicine, Molecular Imaging, and Theranostics section onsite in Peoria, Illinois. Candidates will interpret examinations spanning the breadth of adult and pediatric general nuclear medicine and PET/CT. Our department also provides theranostic services, including PRRT procedures (currently Lutathera and Pluvicto) and both benign and malignant radioiodine therapies. In addition to fellowship training, we are seeking an individual with either dual ABR/ABNM board certification/eligibility or ABR board certification/eligibility with ABR subspecialty certification in Nuclear Radiology.
In addition to staffing the nuclear medicine section, the candidate will rotate on other services. Additional diagnostic imaging is flexible and customizable in this regard and is based on the candidate’s experience and interests, with opportunities in body (CT, MR, and/or US), neuroradiology, pediatrics, MSK, and mammography, among other sections.
The position is based at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, a 649-bed Level I trauma center which opened a truly world-class cancer center, OSF Cancer Institute, that will provide personalized and comprehensive services while also advancing research and cancer technology capabilities, including proton therapy (one of less than 40 centers in the United States) and a broad spectrum of other state-of-the-art therapies.
The position presents opportunity for faculty appointment at the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria (UICOM-P), providing supervision and teaching of residents and fellows in our Radiology residency program.
