Private Practice Pediatric Radiologist (Fellowship Training Optional) in Peoria Illinois
Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is an independent, physician-owned private radiology group practice with 100+ physicians providing comprehensive medical imaging and interventional services to ambulatory facilities, clinics, and hospitals throughout Illinois and in Michigan. We are currently recruiting an onsite Pediatric Radiologist to join our growing team. The position is located at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. In addition, the position presents opportunity for faculty appointment, supervising and teaching residents and fellows with the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria (UICOM-P).
CIRA serves hospitals throughout Illinois including OSF Saint Francis Medical Center which includes, on campus, the Children’s Hospital of Illinois (CHOI). CHOI is the major provider of advanced pediatric health care in Central Illinois. Children’s Hospital of Illinois is a 136-bed facility with over 140 pediatric specialists in more than 50 pediatric subspecialty areas including the largest pediatric surgery program in the state. Children’s Hospital is a level I trauma center, pediatric critical care center, Regional Perinatal Center, and a level III neonatal intensive care unit. Children’s Hospital of Illinois is home to the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate, an in-patient and out-patient extension of St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
We are looking for candidates who are proficient in Pediatric Radiology, have strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate relationships with our hospital partners, physicians, employees, and patients. This position is flexible and allows the radiologist to participate in a variable percentage of non-pediatric imaging studies if they desire.
