Description
Southern New England Radiology (SNER) seeks a full-time partnership track BC/BE fellowship trained Diagnostic Radiologist. The role involves interpreting a broad range of general diagnostic radiology exams including CT, MRI, US, and NM. MSK fellowship/experience and experience in Women’s Imaging are a plus, but not required. The position does not involve Interventional Radiology procedures.
SNER is a stable, physician-owned private practice group of 21 full-time Radiologists and growing Advanced Practice Provider support offering Diagnostic and Interventional services with subspecialized skills for the Southcoast Health System in Southeastern Massachusetts. Southcoast Health consists of a group of three hospitals totaling 815 beds, located in Fall River, New Bedford and Wareham, MA. Outpatient facilities include two dedicated Women's Imaging Centers, two Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care, multiple Urgent Care Centers and additional outpatient locations.
We utilize state-of-the-art equipment featuring 4 MRI units (including a 3T Siemens Verio MRI), Siemens CT scanners, Hologic 3D Tomosynthesis mammography units and new permanent PET/CT. Our systems include the latest versions of McKesson PACS, EPIC EMR, Powerscribe 360 with Transcription backup.
Radiologists share 8 hour weekday and 9 hour weekend shifts equally, with remote evening call and multiple remote shifts daily, overall approximately 50% remote. Outside Teleradiology coverage begins at 10 pm and continues through 8 am, 7 days a week. Each Radiologist is equipped with a Home Workstation for both daytime and evening shifts offering flexible work from home opportunities. SNER offers a 2-year partnership track with no buy-in. Competitive compensation and benefits package including health and malpractice insurance, 401K and profit sharing, business and medical reimbursement; average total compensation at 900K+.
Group members work approximately 195 days/year, average a 4 day work week with 8 full vacation weeks. We offer excellent schedule flexibility including the ability to request individual days off. Partners have equal voting rights and participate in all key group decisions. Call responsibilities and schedule distributed equally without seniority-based disparities.
