Description
Body Imager – Elite Compensation | Flexible Schedule | Physician-Led Private Practice
Premier Radiology, a physician-led private practice in partnership with Beacon Health Kalamazoo, is seeking a fellowship-trained Body Imager to join a high-performing, collegial radiology group in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This is a rare opportunity to build a rewarding body imaging career with exceptional compensation, meaningful autonomy, modern technology, and a lifestyle structure designed for long-term sustainability.
This is not a volume-factory role. It is a high-quality private practice opportunity for a Body Imager who wants to practice at a high level, work with excellent colleagues, and be supported by an infrastructure that prioritizes efficiency, quality, and physician well-being.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Elite Compensation: Compensation consistently ranks in the top national percentiles, with immediate parity for an experienced right candidate. Optional moonlighting opportunities provide additional income upside without pressure or obligation.
True Flexibility
Choose the practice model that works best for you: fully onsite, hybrid, or fully remote. Our infrastructure is built to support high-quality body imaging from anywhere, without compromising collaboration, workflow, or clinical excellence.
Outstanding Lifestyle Balance
Work 40 weeks per year with 12 weeks of vacation annually. Weekend call is equitable and predictable at Q6-7, designed to protect personal time and support long-term sustainability.
High-Quality Body Imaging Practice
Interpret a robust mix of CT, MRI, ultrasound, and general body imaging studies in a dynamic private practice environment. The case mix is engaging, clinically meaningful, and supported by strong hospital and referring clinician relationships.
Advanced Technology
Read on state-of-the-art CT, MRI, ultrasound, and modern cross-sectional imaging platforms with an efficient PACS with PowerScribe One and thoughtfully integrated AI tools designed to reduce friction, support accuracy, and improve daily workflow.
Collegial, Subspecialty-Oriented Environment
You will join a collaborative team of subspecialty-trained radiologists who value consultation, mutual respect, and clinical excellence. The practice prioritizes high-quality interpretations, strong communication with referring clinicians, and a sustainable pace of work.
Call Responsibilities
Evening and weekend call are shared equitably among the group. During evening or weekend call, the Body Imager should be comfortable covering emergency neuroradiology, including acute CT head, CTA head and neck, stroke imaging, and other emergent neuroimaging studies typically encountered in the ER setting.
This call structure is designed to be predictable and balanced, while ensuring timely, high-quality coverage for emergency patients.
The Practice
Premier Radiology offers a modern private practice environment built around autonomy, clinical quality, efficiency, and long-term physician satisfaction.
The practice maintains strong partnerships with Beacon Health Kalamazoo, referring clinicians, and the surrounding community. Physicians benefit from advanced imaging technology, efficient workflow systems, and a culture that values both subspecialty expertise and collaborative general radiology coverage.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Body Imager who enjoys high-quality cross-sectional imaging, meaningful clinical collaboration, and the ability to contribute to a respected, physician-led group.
About Kalamazoo
Kalamazoo offers the best of both worlds: a vibrant, livable community with excellent schools, arts, dining, and outdoor recreation, plus easy access to Lake Michigan and major Midwest cities. For remote or hybrid candidates, full teleradiology support ensures seamless integration into the practice.
More Than a Job
Premier Radiology is committed to building long-term careers, not short-term staffing solutions. We are physician-led, growth-oriented, and intentional about creating a culture where radiologists thrive professionally and personally.
The culture is collegial, the infrastructure is strong, and the growth is deliberate. This is a position for a Body Imager who wants to be valued, supported, and compensated at the highest level while maintaining a sustainable lifestyle.
If you are a fellowship-trained Body Imager seeking elite compensation, immediate parity, flexible work options, 12 weeks of vacation, a collegial subspecialty environment, and a sustainable private practice career, this is a rare opportunity.
