Bay Imaging Consultants Medical Group, Inc., is a premier 115+ member radiologist-run private practice based in the San Francisco Bay area. We are the largest private practice in California, serving 12 hospitals and over 40 outpatient centers across several health systems in the North Bay, East Bay, and South Bay. Position Overview
We are seeking a talented, fellowship-trained radiologist to join our growing after-hours Emergency Radiology service line. This position offers the best of both worlds: the advantages of hospital-based private practice combined with the flexibility of teleradiology. You can work from home, as well as from our offices in the San Francisco Bay Area and downtown Honolulu. All necessary equipment for home reading will be provided at the company’s cost.
We welcome candidates at all career stages—recent graduates, mid-career professionals, and those with extensive experience. Board-certified and board-eligible radiologists are encouraged to apply.

Partnership Track: Enjoy the opportunity to advance to full parity partnership with a well-established group of local radiologists. Ideal for those seeking long-term growth, full-time work (80-100%) and shared governance.
Associate: Join as a W-2 employed radiologist with competitive compensation and benefits for full-time Associates, without the obligation of partnership. Work as little or as much as you want. Suitable for individuals seeking stability and a clinical focus.
Contractor / 1099: Prefer working independently as a service provider while managing your own business? This flexible, contractor-based option may be the right fit for you.
What You’ll Do
Emergency Radiology: Primary coverage is during the evening hours:
- 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time
- 7:00 PM – 2:00 AM Pacific Standard Time
Diverse Caseload: Enjoy a dynamic mix of emergency radiology and optional daytime subspecialty reads, depending on your interest and training.
Subspecialty Radiology: Maintain and grow your subspecialty expertise with access to additional day or time-flexible subspecialty reads in areas such as neuroradiology, MSK, body imaging, and more.
Schedules That Work for You
Annual Shift Target: Estimated between 122 and 240 seven-hour shifts per year. Flexibility in shift length can be accommodated dependent on the circumstances.
Flexible Scheduling: Design a schedule that fits your lifestyle. We support a variety of configurations including:
- Target-based scheduling; part-time or full-time
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- 7 days on / 14 days off
Where You Will Work
You can reside anywhere in Hawaii, California, Washington, Nevada, or Oregon.
When working from Hawaii:
You have the option to work from your home office or in our Honolulu, Hawaii satellite office, located only steps from the ocean. The neighborhood, Kaka’ako, is conveniently located between downtown Honolulu and the districts of Ala Moana and Waikiki.
When working from the West Coast:
You have the option to work entirely from your home office or perform shifts at one of several Bay Area locations on a part-time or full-time basis.

Salary Range: $500k- $1M+ for full-time positions. (7 days on/14 days off starts at $300k-$375k per year based on time zone and chosen track.)
