Description

High Plains Radiological Association (“HPRA”) is a regional radiology group based in Amarillo, TX. HPRA is a 100% physician-owned private practice providing service to multiple hospitals and imaging centers throughout Texas and New Mexico. HPRA is seeking a dedicated full-time day-shift teleradiologist and/or tele-mammographer. HPRA will consider all subspecialty radiologists for teleradiology positions if they are comfortable reading general diagnostic imaging, ED, and inpatient studies. Breast imaging is also available if interested.  Options include W-2 employed with benefits and 1099 contractor status.

Job Details

•       Monday-Friday (210 shifts) – Options of 7a - 4p, 8a - 5p, 10a - 7p CST and 10 weekends
•       HPRA is willing to consider weekday only remote providers
•       General radiology with an option for specialized exams
•       Productivity average 70 wRVU/shift, incentives for higher production 
•       24-7 IT support with the group’s personal IT team, no call centers or endless transfers
•       Base Compensation $500,000 plus additional $70,000 bonus compensation based on modest productivity benchmark (above 75 wRVUs per shift)

• HPRA covers nights internally, which totals 3 weeks per year per radiologist, however the group is also filling dedicated nights to reduce frequency
• Average wRVU volume per day per radiologist is 60-80 depending on specialty and modality mix
